Aggregate & Material Modification
Ecobond modification of crushed stone, natural gravel, sands, etc. is utilized to:
- Improve Shear Strength by increasing the cohesion without reducing the angle of internal friction
- Reduce moisture sensitivity
Testing: Triaxial shear testing is the most informative system for this kind of application but other shear strength tests can also be used.

- Selected layers
- Crushed stone base courses
- Gravel road wearing courses when combined with Ecobond spray-on applications
