History
Techneco (Pty) Ltd is a South African company that specializes in Ecobond, a resin bitumen additive for the construction of roads, water storage dams, etc. Techneco (Pty) Ltd was established in 1999 to promote the technology developed in earlier years by Mr. Henri de Bruyn and the company strives to improve South Africa's roads using new, workable technologies and has many reputable clients e.g. Eskom, Provincial and Local Authorities and private sector companies in SA.
Structure
Techneco is a privately owned company. Our headquarters are located near the CSIR in Pretoria in the Gauteng province of South Africa from where we serve Southern Africa and International clients. We have distribution agreements with several partners to supply Ecobond and training in SA and to the rest of the world and to deliver after sales service.
Track Record
Ecobond has been in use since 1996 and more than three thousand laboratory tests (University of Pretoria, CSIR, Accredited Laboratories) and field applications have proven conclusively that Ecobond works. Patents have been applied for and granted in many countries and improvements are actively being developed and further patents applied for.
Expansion
Ecobond is further expanding into several countries internationally e.g. Namibia, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, India, Australia, etc.
